It has been just over 9 months since we ordered and received our VME Starter Pkg. and it has performed as promised. The VME setup is simple to understand and use, simplifying installation and saving fingers/backs from injury. That alone is reason enough to purchase this setup. However, we also noticed a dramatic increase in productivity and less fatigue. Clients have commented on how “cool” it is to see our tools helping our team be more productive. Switching from large format slabs to smaller pavers is as simple as switching handles. We will be adding the machine Mount to our toolbox to use with our mini excavator for even faster/easier installs.
The photos below are of a project that we completed earlier this year. Our access was through a 32” door into a courtyard. So after demolishing the old concrete patio we opted for a synthetic base. Two of us laid all the pavers in one day, including cuts. A total square footage of just over 600 sq ft. This single project justified the cost of the VME Starter Package. We have used it for other projects as well with similar results.
If I had to improve one thing about the Package- it would be storage and transporting. We bought a rolling toolbox to carry most of the package, but it is not perfect. There may be better options out there, but this one is pretty damn good.
