We live the tools, super time savers. 1 The handles are on the end of the box making it to wide for one person to carry. 2 the handles are too thin for the weight of the box and contents making carrying from a trailer to the work area a challenge without two people and a few stops 3 the box can only be stored and transported one way (as in the box must open up and be carried/stored that way) 4 tools are all good, may suggest a rubber material for the tightening fasteners. Especially for the scribes as they will move on you if you are not paying attention. The big hand tight fasteners loosen though out use Overall worth the money, just have to reconfigured our hardscape trailers to accommodate the new box in it's upright position
We sincerely appreciate your feedback. You mention some good points. The box does weigh 115 Lbs and I would not recommend one person to carry that much weight. I can review the handle comfort issue. We chose that handle due to the fact it is military grade and built to last. For an immediate fix you may consider zip tying some foam onto the handle. We most always will transport the box with a hand truck when moving the box any amount of distance. Good suggestion with the rubber on the “tightening fasteners” I can look into that. Most contractors transport the box lying down however we do transport our box kit in the vertical position(Lifters at the bottom and Hammer bit and Sand Plow at the top) We use packing foam to keep the tools in their position. I've seen Pave Tool at many trade shows and always was interested in purchasing. About two years ago i finally purchased the box kit. This was one of the best investments i made. Once you start buying PTI's tools individually you will be convinced by how well they work! Save a little and just buy the kit, wish I did! Thanks for the awesome tools to make our job easier!
