Now with thinner teeth! You asked, we listened!

Extracting pavers after they have been installed properly can be a daunting task.

  • Extracts pavers
  • Allows one hand to be free to tap surrounding pavers, initiating the breaking of the interlock bond
  • Adjust from 6" - 24" easily

There is No Easy Way to Extract Pavers after Sanding & Compaction

TIPS:

1. Polymeric sands work best if hot water is applied to the sand to break down the polymers for easier removal.

2. For Large Scale Pavers run your cutoff saw between each joint before extracting.

3.  While applying steady pressure to the Paver Popper, tap surrounding pavers with a mallet to break the bond.

4. Make Sure you Watch THE VIDEO BELOW before Extraction!

Quick-E-Paver Popper Replacement Teeth are available

Lifting Loop does not come with the Paver Popper - not recommended for excavator.

Paver popper

I have been using the paver popper now for a couple of weeks on a daily basis. I have not used it as yet on a well established paver patio that has been polymer in. Right now I’m in construction of a 750 foot paver patio With stones that are about 16 Inches wide with three different lengths. The greatest weight is 84 pounds per slab. initially the tool comes needing some adjustment of which there are many. I did notice right away that The provided blades were going to be too thick for this application and I immediately ordered the thinner ones and frankly, I would consider this a given unless you’re willing to sacrifice, some pavers, pulling them out and putting them back in as a repair process. One of the blade holders was welded a few degrees crooked so I shimmed the holding bolt and that took care of that problem. Otherwise, the construction appears to be solid. Overall, I’m pleased with his purchase. I do wish the release handle had more teeth to grab onto, but with adjustment things are manageable. would I recommend this to a pro or DIYer - No hesitation.

Blades too large

My pavers don’t have the space between them for your blades to be affective. Waste of money for me.

Works when used properly

This tool works as it is designed. You must be patient and use it properly. It can be exhausting if you do it right, but it works. The large teeth are too big and damage adjacent pavers, so we replaced them with a spare set of thinner teeth. It works best with 2 people, one to pull & wiggle the popper while another taps the surrounding pavers with a mallet. I bought this because my old extractor only opened to 13", and this one opens to 24". We had some large 16"x24" slabs to remove from a completed patio with Easy Joint. We were able to get them out using this tool. It is made well and works well, but it's not magic, its a tool.
